"A must to heat them up with rice and couple of times. 2nd time I played ping pong for an hour and they feel great now. DO not judge fist time you put them on. I have one buckle digging in slightly, but trying to find time to adjust. . . but it is warm spring time. Ripping this winter will be the next review."

Crestone VS

"I did a demo from your Golden fit facility. The staff was great super helpful. I decided to purchase because of the quality and ease of walking, plus your pleasant helpful staff. The purchase was easy. Took a little over a week for the boots to arrive. Thanks Apex!"

Malcolm D. (5/5)

They look cool

"Unable to give an accurate review as I got them at the end of ski season and will not be able to use them until next ski season. Will gladly give another review when I use them."

My second pair of Apex

"My second pair of Apex Boots. They have been comfortable from the first run of the season. The new version of the Crestone I purchased are an improvement from my older model."

Steven D. (5/5)

Ok so far

"I bought these as an older person needing comfort. The boot itself was advertised as very comfortable and warm. They were definitely warm, but not as comfortable as I hoped. Getting into the outer frame was difficult at best . They performed well on the slopes, I’m hoping with some use and breaking they’ll be what I was imagining"

william d. (4/5)

"Excited to break these in. They were very comfortable right out of the box…"

Q&A

I want to try ski. I currently have a pair of snowboard boots. Can I use them with ski equipment?
Our boots can be used for snowboarding as well. They are not compatible with other brands of snowboarding boots.
What is the weight difference between the Antero and Crestone ski boot?
Antero is 10% lighter than Crestone.
Hey Apex, I am looking forward to trying your new designs. When do you anticipate expanding to Size 14? Thanks.
We probably won't be building a 32 mondo or 14 street shoe equivalent in the near future.
I attempt to both ski and snowboard, and understand that the walking portion of your boots are snowboard boots but do you have anything in the works with either Burton, for step on, or an apex step on snowboard binding, similar to clew.
Unfortunately our inner boot is not compatible with step on systems.
Do you guys make these with the ability to put any brand snowboard in them?
No. They are designed as a system not to be mixed with other boots.
I have a very narrow foot how does this work with this boot
The BOA Fit System is unique in that it wraps around your foot unlike conventional boots, allowing for greater range in fitting narrow and wide feet. In more narrow feet additional padding may be required for proper heel retention.
Is there any professional pricing or discounts for National Ski Patrollers?
Yes. Please contact our customer service for NSP member pricing. 303-530-3340 or info@apexskiboots.com.
Do you make kids sizes? My son has a genetic disorder and his feet are too wide and thick to fit a typical ski boot so we’ve made him snowboard, but he doesn’t love it and keeps saying that he wants to ski…. I would love to try these for him!
The smallest we make is a 23 mondo which fits men's 5 shoe equivalent.
DO YOU OFFER PROFESSIONAL DISCOUNTS TO National Ski Patrol members?
We sure do. You can access the discount through our NSP Official Product Supplier link on NSP's website like all other product supplier's discounts. Call us with further questions. 303-530-3340.
